Can anyone help out a new EVO owner in San Diego?

I just picked up a brand new IX MR yesterday. On the way home, the damn Service engine Soon light came on. Pulled the code and which said it was insufficient flow to the EGR. Code was P0401 I believe. I've searched and I found the threads about this issue.

My problem is I am not positive whether there are any unplugged lines from the EGR solenoid. I felt around and found what I think is the EGR. It feels like there are 2 vacuum lines coming off of it, but both are connected.

Anyone in the San Diego area willing to come take a look at it today?

I plan on taking it to the dealership monday morning, but if it's an easy fix that can be done today, I'd rather just have it done.

Well I took it in today, turns out the nipple on the EGR solenoid broke off. Part is on order and should be here in a couple of days. Not exactly how I wanted to start off my new car ownership, but hopefully it doesn't happen again =(

the sameting happened to me on my 03 VIII but the hose popped off the nipple didnt brake. It happened 2 days after i bought the car which of course happened to fall on a saturday late afternoon. until monday when ibrought it in i thought my blood pressure was gonna blow my head off (LOL).when the mechanic came out after 10 minutes and said you done and ready to go it was nothing just a hose coming off your valve i fealt like i hit the lotto. after that never a problem unless i caused it.

I'm still getting this P0401 and it happens every 100 miles. I have checked everything that could be lose. Nothing is lose. All cables are intact on all sensors. What could be the problem?
