David,

I wouldn't even worry about the dyno numbers, you were running much lower boost than normal. Would I had turn the boost down and I would probably had made 270 ish.

The dyno is a good thing for reference when you add mods but in reality think about this, you ran freaking 112mph at SIR in the summer, that is 117mph sea level stock turbo, stock injectors, stock IC.

Your car is fast and that is the way I look at it.

Carlos

You are right Bill. Now that I remember it was 23psi and some change. I was thinking of higher psi numbers we ran on the Evo 9.

Bill, the same comment goes for you. The dyno numbers are just a figure in reality look what you have achieved with minor mods, you smoked Vipers, Cobras,M3 and a full list of 400-500hp cars already, your car is running very strong

Thanks again everyone. I had a good time. Wish I could have hung out a little longer.

I was pretty disapointed to find out my car is only running 18 psi, but I was happy with the numbers I put down for only having a catback and the buscher cone filter and no tune.

Absolutely.... thats the important part. Dyno numbers are one thing, but making 4-500hp musclecars wonder wtf is going on is priceless. Seriously, I think the guy with the modded 03 Cobra I thrashed a few weeks ago is in therapy. As a former Mustang owner/enthusiast I know I would have been. Especially after we pulled to the next light and he asks what I have done to the car. "Um, stock with a couple of simple bolt-ons and a tune."

Thanks bud. I will be running at Firebird next Friday to see how it fairs up there with the new o2 housing, and the stiff spring in my MBC.

I might go to Phoenix with you and run the Evo 8. I hope you can run some low 12's or perhaps flat 12s or even better.

Chris,

Your car is strong. You had some really nice numbers for just a couple minor upgrades. I'm beginning to think that Buschur open air filter is the way I should've gone in lieu of the Works hi-flow drop in. It would've been cheaper too.

I've heard you can expect another 20 whp by adding a down pipe and test/hi-flow cat. Get a MBC and bump the boost from 18 to 22 or so and with a half way decent tune you'll be making over 300 whp.

Hopefully I can set up another day later on when the temps cool down I do have a subaru date set in sept so if anyone is interested in showing up the subies your more than welcome!!

Also if you have any suggestions on how to better our dyno days that would be great. Im glad Bossman (Stephen) gave me the oppurtunity to run this for you guys and one more time thanks and hope to see you all soon

Looks like I missed out on this thread the last couple days.

Carlos, it was nice to finally meet you after talking to you on the boards these last few years.

I'm glad that everyone had a great time at the dyno, and I'm especially glad that we were able to fix Doug's (Sp00lin) car on the side of highway 79 after his I/C pipe blew off and still make it.

Douglas(naucrx),

I feel the same way. We have been talking for years on other AZ forums but never met in person. Unfortunately we missed the chances in the past like I went to the track when you didn't, you went to car shows and I didn't and viceversa, etc, etc.

I had the blast talking to everyone and knowing their cars. You are a cool guy as I always thought so. By the way, did you met Socorro(Evo9grl) ?

Take care buddy..

Carlos
