Sacramento Anyone
If you get caught with fake CARB stickers, they can charge you with giving false information to a police officer (don't ask how I know lol), and the fine is about $1000. Plus they may decide to impound your car as they did mine, which means towing release from the local PD $150+, towing fees paid to the towing company they used $300+. Technically and legally, you can have any aftermarket parts you want on your car, as long as it still passes safety and smog laws wherever you live. But when has the real law ever made a difference to dirty cops? Welcome to Suckramento.
damn....well so who wants to start a small meet some where near?? does anyone on here know of ricekiller.com? yall should check them out. it is the biggest car meet in north texas. i use to go when i lived in texas but we should start a meet here in sac. using the ricekiller name.jared, the owner, would be more then happy with the idea and would help us out. check out ricekiller.com to see wha im talking about. the nicest and fastest cars always showed up at the meets every monday night. it would be cool to have somethin like that here to remind me of texas

But yeah far as Ive heard alot of after market mods (intake, headers, etc) HAVE to have the plate to be legal. The AEM one I bought has the plate, was way too expensive for what it's worth, but I do need to start the long and painful process of making my car "Cali Legal"
