btw, that road rally I'm trying to put on May 31st will include the paved part of Piuma. Beautiful view from the top (you can see the ocean and the valley from this one turnout. That's where we watched the meteor shower... drunk)
Dirt Mullholland is easier to find, just be careful not to run over hikers and mountainbikers. From the 101 take Topanga south to Mullholland (left) to where it becomes a dirt road.

I've never driven up there. Kareem, Charles, and Charles' gf didn't seem to have other than having to stop at the gate. But I don't know for sure. I was thinking about driving up to the Magic Mountain stage from Rim of the World and trying to figure out where it went.
