AZ Red EVO's

Welp, it's 2 in the morning, and i'm bored and wondering where all the az red evo's are. (like my name!) i'm in maricopa (the town, not the county, and yes it does exist lol) 20 miles south of firebird raceway and north of casa grande.

I have a red one in AZ...Sometime you might see me visiting family in Casa Grande if you get around there often...Since there is only 2 roads there it is hard to miss people...I used to love my buddies neighborhood in Maricopa because there were 4 houses (all car guys) and a lot of open road to drive instead of Firebird...of course then I drove a Jetta GLI so it wasn't as much fun as it would be now...

you should try to make it out to the drive to Tortilla Flats next Sunday...check http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2969479 for more info...I organized it

Talking my evo

The attached pic was at home depot from last night. I about crapped my pants! The lighting made it look like it was a metallic gray color, and so i pulled out my remote, and tried unlocking it like 20 times, and it didn't work. i look inside, and it's clean like my car, but no matter how close i got it still looked gray. it was backed in right where my car was, so i was a tad wierded out. so im going back to see the plate while still hitting my unlock button and it opens. phew!

this one is from chandler airport. Taken with my lil 1.3 megapixel camera phone

same goes for this one.

last one!

If evom would allow more than 100 kb. i'd add much higher quality pics. my pics are all 5 mb. or more, so it's impossible to downsize them to 100 kb.

Is red a pretty rare color for the EVO or something? I searched for a white IX for over a month.

in az, i've seen 3 since they came out. one was back in '03. some asian guy drove one past my school every day, and the other 2 were at the street races. i mean ahem.... organized racing events with police in attendance to keep things in check.

I haven't seen any in Flagstaff but mine...but there is a grey MR and a white one here...Saw another grey today, but it was just a tourist had a nice wing...and a bunch pulled onto Snowbowl road the other day...I was pissed I was working because I wanted to join em, except the road was closed because it is still very icy...

Dave you should sell me your wing

Red evo checking in here. I can be caught tearing down the I-17 every morning and back up the 51 every night. I saw one at Firebird once, and I think that was about it.
