JEFF, why are you even considering NOT racing both days?? You TIRE *****!!! j/k of course. As for spectating, I'm almost positive it's free!!! I'll do some more checking and post later. Another thing, I think it would be an awesome idea for a meet...thinking about it...all who don't race, but plab to in the future can use those of us who as guinea pigs!! I'll be borrowing some diagnostic equipment so we can keep tabs on tire temperatures/pressures and what not, and we'll be able to gauge what kind of wear an event like this puts on the tires. Anyway, I'll most likely be driving up on friday late night to check into a ho/motel up there so I don't have to leave early in the morning on Sat. I tried to email the organizers to ask questions about spectating, but my outgoing email is still on the futz so can someone get on their site and email them with spectator questions: specifically if it is free, and what the general rules are? BTW riders ride for free if you sign the consent form!! the site is www.speedventures.net 5 hours of track time total for 2 days is insane at that price guys! 5-6 sessions each day!!! Check it out!

 

Oh, and the track isn't THAT far from LA so it could be a nice little convoy north on the I-5, but the convoy would have to leave pretty early if you plan on getting there for the first session. Just a thought

 

uggg, another post, sorry. As of 10 mins ago there were 25 spots open for saturday, and a lot for sunday!! If you plan on racing go sign up now!!!

 

Ok here's an update: 20 spots still open for Saturday Aug 2nd and still tons open on Sunday Aug 3rd. Any new takers? Jeff (apexstrafer) and I are confrimed and jacked (especially after the madness of the Saturday Piuma canyon run). Dino, get some cash together man, you shoulda gambled more in Vegas!! Robert, let's go race some vipers Cheezefrog!! So what does everyone think about a meet at the track on Sunday? Haven't seen any feedback yet, talked to Rob and he was keen on the idea, what do you guys think. Please feel free to shoot the idea down, but post SOMETHING as it's only 2 weeks away!!

 

I wanna go but dont know whether or not I can cause I have finals and papers to write all weekend. I will definatly go as soon as I get mine. Maybe next time we can plan it out a little better since it is a 2 day event maybe we can find cheap accomidations.
