Fiinally a local who has done the same thing. But I might have to layoff the onramp launches, just paid $3.26 for gas, $40 fill up. Maybe ever other time I get on the freeway.

I cant help it, whenever i have room to i mash on it. Damn 91 must be expensive over on the east side of the valley. It's only like $3.15 on the west side.

Yeah its been a little pricey lately. Near my work in Mesa its about the same as the west valley. Hope it starts to trickle down though.

The best onramp in the PHX area for an EVO is the southbound SR143 merging onto the I-10. my personal best was 95mph b4 it became a "slight drift" due to my paltry stock suspension. the frontage roads along the 101 in the chandler/tempe area work good too especially for tuning since they have very few if any side streets...

Every now and then the car gets the best out of me at those metered light to get on the 101... esp. right after i got my car tuned and lauch control set to 5500 i ended up doing a couple "practice launches" when there were no other cars around(i leave extremely early in the morning for work).

Best place for me is a school zone just after they let the Kids out, the look of fear on there faces is priceless. Using them as cones is very cool. I love how the Mums always get upset. I don't know why though.

I leave fairly early work myself but there are no metered ramps along the San Tan 202. But still always an early morning wake up
