^^^ Good luck OJ... I wouldn't discourage you but I am telling you that ain't easy.

Make your mind to accept that in order to be the fastest stock turbo in AZ you have no other choice than Speedworld, forget about Firebird or SIR(Tucson).

I think the fastest stock Evo in AZ is my friend Mike (user name AZ EVO IX MR), I believe he did a 11.7@114 on a 6 speed MR. Second quickest I believe is Rob that ran a 11.9@115.9 in Tucson (very very hard to beat).

OJ , it might take you a few more hundred/thousands dollars to get the perfect set up.

By the way, where in the hell have you been? I haven't seen you since we drove to Mount Lemon together with the snow.

I have plenty of pictures of your car at the track and from Mount Lemon.

LOL.. you are hilarious... Seriously, where have you been my friend?, The Evo community in AZ is not just huge but also well organized. Mynes Performance has a getting together often, Vividracing also and additionally there are multiple valley and mountain drives ,track days and car meets during the weeks and on the weekends.

In Tucson we get together at In and out, Sonic, at the local track, at IAperformance and on Friday nights we do our 9000 feet Mount Lemon, summer heaven "rally inspired" ascent (at your own risk)

Anyway, Tucson, AZ here.

I will be moving to Ft. Huachuca on September 7th or thereabouts. How far is Tucson from there? I'd love to get involved in an actual Evo community, because out here in Northeast Tennessee there really isnt one at all.

I drive a 03 WW Evo btw.

Tucson here. Wingless Whip. EVO VIII.

Carlos, or anyone, what is the day/time/location for the In and Out meet?

Time/location for the Lemmon ascent?

In Tucson we get together at:
In and out -
Sonic - Wed 8:30pm Broadway at Plummer
local track - SIR
IAperformance - Ina Rd at Old Father
Friday nights we do our 9000 feet Mount Lemon -
(summer heaven "rally inspired" ascent)

FYI...I've got a laptop, Tactrix cable, EcuFlash, and EvoScan, if anyone needs to take a look at their tune.

I think i wont have any problem in the 11s. I know those other times are gonna be hard to beat but my last outting was a 12.0@113 @ fullweightwith car only spiking 24psi holding 20 thru redline on bogus tires w/10psi all the way around. The car is getting retuned for 28psi and I getting new tires. The 11.7 car was ran at speed world and has cosworth head cams valvesprings retainers I dont and robs car is a RS about 200+pounds ligfhter then mine. Not taking anything away from those guys because those are fast *** cars but I think with a more aggressive tune a bit more boost and some better tires ill be where i want to be. Ill be home from afganistan in Novenber mostlikely returned and ready to go

About 45minutes. There are a few group of car fans that comes every Friday and Saturday to Tucson to enjoy either Mount Lemon drive, car shows or car meets and often the illegals(at your own risk) .
