Evos at the Las Vegas Motortrend International Auto Show

Here are more pictures of Marc and John's Evos @ the car show. It was sad that the Mitsubishi displays didn't even have a single Evo. Along with our group was Rob and his 630whp Civic, Mikey from Factor X and his 850hp time attacke NSX (fresh from their overall win/dominance @ Laguna Seca) and my '95 Supra.

The setup...

That is the most beautiful NSX I've ever seen by a huge margin. Looks like it was built in the spirit of JGTC cars. Sick carbon work in the interior!

I believe that the company where the owner bought the wheels ordered the wrong offset for the front pair. So the front wheels would not fit and were not used.

just stopped in Las Vegas today on my way back to NY from Santa Ana. Arrived at 11pm yesterday, my flight to NY got canceled around 3am. Before I get new flight info, and waited for the Hotel Shuttle it was already 5am today. I was already awake 24 hours, but still had to go check out the Casinos.

On my way back to the hotel around 5-6am, I saw a silver Evo 8 with red mudflaps. Nevada plate RALLY ... If you are here I was crossing the street when you were making right turn on the intersection next to MGM.

Too bad I couldn't stay longer, my plane was leaving at 11:30am same day. Would love to see the auto show and all these great Nevada Evos under 1 roof..

sick pics

cierex,

nice pics! don't know if you remember but we met last year at factor-x's old shop. i worked for factor-x when you had mike tune your car. you gave me a ride around the block in your jdm supra. loved your ride, btw.

it's amazing how factor-x has gone from street and drag racing to winning time attacks considering their background. i'm glad i was a part of that. anything new done to your car like an f-con?

capt.

I do remember you, and thank you for the compliments. Yup, Factor X Motorsports has made a name for themselves. It's was a bit intereting how the big budget teams were quick to criticize them and make excuses on how the added mufflers hampered their [the other teams'] performance at Laguna Seca.

I dd make the jump to a V-pro system and I am very glad I did. The car now drives like stock, smoother throughout the whole powerband, and is getting very good gas mileage. I'm hitting something like 35mpg highways and like mid-20s in the city. But obviously thats if I don't stomp on her . How have you been doing and what have you been up to? I hope all is well.
