This Guy you hit can't have a case. How could he have whiplash when your car took the beating. Your car absorbed the energy and his didn't. The Guy is trying to take you. Don't let him. If it gets tough, follow him around and see how "injured he is". There are so many people that want a quick buck. When you hit him, he just saw dollar signs.

A few years ago, an old man in a Subaru wagon rear-ended us. I was driving a 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass. The Subaru self-destructed and my car looked fine. Just had one of the bumper shocks blow grease everywhere. My Wife and I got jolted pretty good as he was doing 35 MPH + when he hit us. We also saw him coming in the mirror but no where to escape. He had to be hauled away in an Ambulance. We both were a little sore the next day or two, much like when you workout in a Gym. No big deal, we let him off completely. It was the proper thing to do. I guess all of us have the Guy's licence plate number you hit to trace if he doesn't re-think his plan. I think us Mitsu members can make a point to him.

don't worry about that guy! I got into a similar acciden a few months ago. I hit the guy from behind because he decided he would stop in the middle of a two way, two lane street and talk to someone walking by. Even though I hit him from behind, the accident was ruled both at fault! I know what you mean about the car though. My car was really bad! I needed a new hood, fender, bumper, and radiator! The other guy had a small chunk broken off the lip of his bumper! That sucked!!! He drove home, and I watched my baby being towed away! With the frame though...I'm sorry to hear it! If I were you though, I'd just fix it myself and take the salvage title. You can always fix it, then get a "reconstructed vehicle" title. I dunno what else to tell you though...Good Luck!
