i dropped by around midnight on Saturday, several nice cars in the lot, and several evos...my blue one, a yellow one, a black one, and a red one.

That's funny, maybe I have a clone out there somewhere. I was about 2 miles away from there that night, but didn't end up going. I was busy at a BBQ. I should have gone to scope it out, but I hear that people don't stand around in the parking lot there. I might check out the tustin in-n-out meet next week.

I'd be scared if there was another tall, skinny, ugly EVO owner out there!! It's really too bad that the Torrance meet is dead now. Well, it may not be fully dead, but I highly doubt that many people will show anymore for fear of tickets and such, as I'm sure that word has gotten around that the cops showed so deep and early. Did anyone go to the Torrance lot this Friday? Just wondering if anyone actually went.

there where a few cops tried to scare me away.
cop says "need to leave any modified car will be cited and towed"
then the cop looks at my evo and says "especially yours"
i say go ahead check it out im stock. need less to say i was there for awhile bsing with my friend when they swoop in and block my car and a eclipse .
cops says" check out this car 1st then the yellow ones people just dont learn if we dont get them here when they leave we will"

i decide to wait it out i had all my papers ready for there inspection and it never came they got in there cars then pulled out for a while.
well 1am rolls around and i leave and guess who breaks the law to catch up to me going 35 in a 40 but the smart *** cop. soi dont do anything to give him reason to pull me over. i lead him on for about 2 miles then he get pissed off throws a dangerous u turn in front of a car and almost causes a accident
well thought i would share that for once the good guys win.
oh i talked to a few of the shop owners in the plaza they said they didnt complain about the cars showing up.
they said they welcomed the BIZ.
OH!!!!! there will be a new star bucks opening off the 110 freeway soon at torrance blvd hugh parking lot might be able to move there its in a more industry area never see any cops in the area.

That's exactly what I was affraid of man...exactly. I always used to roll out of there slow, but it sucks driving around with a cop on your *** just waiting for you to screw up. But like I've said in other posts, I was NEVER hassled, not once, when I had my EXTREMELY illegal '66 Coronet. I got pulled over once because I had 4 people in the car at 3am, and the cop thought it was a lowrider and was doing one of those random checks to see if we were all cool. The guy was a total rookie, could'nt tell the difference between a hotrod and a lowrider. The domestic guys at the Torrance meet were the ones who were doing the stupidest stuff too, i.e. running into shopping carts (anyone remember that?). I really hope that a new spot opens up close to LA, like the "old" Torrance meet. I don't really want to drive all the way down to Tustin every Friday night.
