The national banks I see the most are:

Bank of America
Chase
US Bank
Wells Fargo

There are lots of credit unions as well as smaller banks.

Any meets in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area? I live in SoCal but go to Phoenix every 2 weeks. I see Lancers and EVO's everywhere but never hear of any meets.

If you were in Tucson, I'd have totally let you borrow mine, which is currently sitting on the side of my house.

vehicle inspections

can anyone tell me what to expect when it comes to passing vehicle inspections in arizona? I will need to re-register my vehicle and have it inspected there. with a 2010 what will they check for? I have just bolt ons(test pipe, catback and intake). and either 15 or 20% tint all around.

Also, any suggestions for good insurance companies with reasonable rates? I currently pay under $200 a month for full coverage on the X.

Arizona emissions tests are awesome.

Why you say? Because if you have a newer car, they just plug into your diagnostic port and scan for trouble codes. They find none, you pass.

I passed in a MR2 spyder with a duct-taped top, full exhaust, and awful tappet noise coming from the engine.

A friend of mine passed emissions in a swapped Honda with a Hondata ecu replacement. The tool literally said "error... error... pass" when it couldn't find the data it was expecting.

Best part is, since Arizona technically has emissions testing, its unlikely to ever get any more "annoying" than this. Little crap like this, and the recent repeal on all highway speed cameras, make this state damn cool. Now if we could only get off of crappy California 91 octane...

I have never seen any 93 here at least in phoenix. It's all 91, and I do know of at least one e85 station here as well.

Tint shouldn't be an issue. Wasn't for me that is.

If you are looking for meets with Evo's and Subi's around Arizona then a good place to start would be AZAWD.org. Looking forward to seeing your WW around.

Hey guys, I am thinking of putting my 08 GTS up for sale but I haven't been on here in a while. Can anyone let me know which thread I should go to for "AZ for Sale" threads? Most of what I found was just listed as Western... and most of that was Cali.

Where are the good tuners in Phoenix? I need to get a retune from 93 oct so it should be pretty easy but I'd like the tune to be solid.

I suggest Phuong Nguyen at Wingz Performance. I have not been tuned by Phuong, but I've heard a lot of good things about hs work.
