So Cal Convoy to Central Coast Meet 9/20
*EDIT: official meeting time is 9:30-10:00am. We will be leaving Agoura at 10:00am. Don't be late or you may have to catch up. If you need to, call my cell at (818)585-6128. Also, bring a 2-way radio if you can, we will be using them to keep the convoy together (channel will be decided later)
I am hosting a convoy for Southern California people who will be attending Troie's All-state Lancer meet on the central coast September 20-21. All are welcome to participate in this convoy and meet.
- Starting point will be at 27412 Revere Way, Agoura, Ca. 91301. park on Liberty Cyn just before Revere Way (plenty of street parking and no house owners to care about it). Agoura is just east of the San Fernando Valley, where LA County and Ventura County meet.
- The convoy is expected to last 3 1/2 hours, give or take 30 minutes. We will most likely have only one rest stop if any.
- Convoy speed limit will be 75 mph, or 10 over (whichever is less). If you wish to drop off and catch up or explore and drive like hell to catch up, that's up to you.
- The route will follow the 101 freeway then break off onto the 1 at San Luis Obispo, featuring plenty of coastal driving, beautiful landscape, some curvy sections, and much less traffic than the greater LA area.
- Final destination is Morro Bay State Beach (I will be verifying the official name of it soon, for those who wish to print up your own directions or arrive seperately)

Ok I said to leave at 10 just because Im lazy and wanted a little more sleep but after I marked it and read Urban's I wanna change it to leave at 9. Getting there and then having lunch would be nice. So moderator if you can change my vote to 9 I would be much obliged. Cha Ching

Here you go if you need directions (it is simple) just hit the 101 till you reach San Luis Osbispo and follow the US 1(PCH) signs then head to Morro Bay hit any off ramp head to the water and look for the really big rock (you cant miss it) keep going to the rock till you reach the big dirt parking lot and look for my yellow lancer.
now for you who like "real" directions...here you gohttp://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&do=nw&ct=NA&1y=US&1a=&1p=&1c=los+ang eles&1s=ca&1z=&2y=US&2a=&2p=&2c=morro+bay&2s=ca&2z =&lr=2&x=44&y=7
