Just got back from the dealer

I just got back to the dealer to work out some numbers. Heres what I got. Sticker is $30,812 thats with a cf spoiler and sunroof. I got them down to about $29,500 not including tax, license. Is that a good price?

I backed down cause i wanted to consult you guys to see if that was a good price or not.

I don't know what the market is out in Calif, but in Maine they still have 5K in dealer mark up, mind you I got mine at MSRP, so I would say 29.5 is a pretty decent deal, if you got the money, then I say go for it.

Was that at HB Mitsu? Either way, that's a good deal. Take it...

You can do better. 29500 is about 940 over invoice. I just went through a helluva time trying to find a dealership on the east coast that would go below 600 under MSRP, but I found one in SC. I'm about to buy one for about 75 bux over invoice, and that includes a 30day tag to drive it home with Only drawback is that the dealership is in SC, I'm in VA, so I have to go on a road trip next weekend!

From what I've seen from the probably 20-25 dealerships I've contacted, 1300 off sticker isn't a bad deal.

I guess it must be hard to sell those Evos now. Not even 4 months ago, there were $5,000 markups everywhere. Now I feel bad for paying sticker...

Not a bad price at all... have them throw in LoJack or something at that price and it'll be a deal.

The Miller deal for that car was a one time thing, I don't think you can get it anymore for that price.

Which dealership from SC are you buying it from? If it is from Jim Hudson Mitsu in Columbia then that is where we got ours.

Sounds good to me!
MSRP = Good deal
Under MSRP = Great deal

Tell them to throw in the pit pass service at no charge, and its a deal!!

Cool, my first post...

anyway, 29500 is a good price, with tax/license you're looking at a total of ~32000 out the door. Im sure if you wait till the end of the month, you can save an additional $500 on the total price.
