Hey what's up guys I'm Carlos. Moved here to vegas a couple months ago. The evo scene here in vegas seems to be really weak compared to washington state where I moved from, so I thought I'd say what's up. I just wanna hang out with some fellow car enthusiasts.

Your actually on the lancer section, Evo group is a hell of a lot bigger than we are. Be nice if we can actually just merge it all, since Lancers are just the base model of the evo for those of us who can't afford the price tag of the beast. We'll be happy to have you, the more evo's we get the more we can unionize this whole evo vs. lancer s*** that goes on all the time. We're all here. Just some of us can't afford the upkeep, ins, and payments that come with that evo.

 

Hey MrBlonde, See how much it would be for your friend to get me those vinyls to black out my front bumper. I still need to see if I can do that with the dealership but if so I'll definitely be buying soon. Also when are we doing another drag night?

What do you think about painting the rims gold w/ red caps and red lip?
I got a professional painter that I have hook ups with. It's that or Black and red.
Another Idea I had was doing a red mouth trim like the new GTI's have

 

I know, I've posted in the evo thread. But like I said, they don't seem to do much in the way of meets or anything, so that's why I came in here. I went to in n out a couple thursdays ago and 2 other people showed up. I was like wtf. The suby guys were easily numbering in the double digits. Made me frankly a little jeoulous of them. The evo meets we had in washington, at a minimum there'd be 5 evos there.

 

It would probably be about 40-60 bucks for the bumper, because I was at his shop last night, I got more vinyl work done. What color is your Lancer again? I'm not a big fan of gold wheels personally, but it might look cool, maybe a black logo instead of red. And the red lip if you decide to do the in red, because then that would tie it together

gold would look sweet with the black car... and definetly do the red with the red lip....would look kinda sick... and we should have designate a meet spot for all of us for Vegas...... I live Centinnial area, whihc is far as hell from civilization.... but some place central would be cool

 

Ya, I was thinking the gold would look awesome, since I've only seen one other lancer with gold rims and it was a white lancer. Post some pics! I want to see the tein's cuz I want atleast a 2 inch drop, the stock springs set the lancer at a high center of gravity. That and you have the most modded gts in vegas, I still can't wait to see it in person sometime. But I think if he did a flat black out on my bumper it would look sick, and also if he could vinyl my emblems red. I might talk to my dealership in a few months to see if I can't switch it to financing early.

I'm leasing mine, and hopefully switching iot over very soon as well, but the good thing about the vinyl, you can put it on, andtake it off without harming the paint at all. And I took the Teins out for my tranny check up, I will be putting them back in soon.....we will get together soon bro... I will post some pics soon...

 

woah, are you really? damn, I think I might just start modding than. Very sneaky spring work. I was thinking about doing that, but putting springs on and taking them off for check ups is a pain . I REALLY need those RRM motor mounts everytime I launch I get horrible engine hop

 

Yeah, you gotta be sneaky, the dealerships can be idiots....but for spring installment and unistallment, its always good to have friends that work at Discount Tire.... And if you look at your lease agreement, it says, "nothing that will decrease the value of the car.... and eveything we wanna do, actually increases the value

Getting ready to go back for the checkup soon, if they do, I will tell them to show me where you can't upgrade the air-intake. And my engine runs better than it does stock, but I still have my stock one....but the way you gotta do the CAI is more complicated than doing the springs. I had to remove my whole front bumper. If they do say something then I will tell them to blow me, and burn rubber out of there....LOL

 

which dealership do you goto? cuz courtesy seems to be a group of idiots . I never received my owners manual with my car or my spare key. they told me they'd have it with my green slip when I came to pick that up and go figure, when I picked up my slip... No spare or owners manual and now they want me to pay $45 for the manual and like 50 for the spare...

But I'm definitely goin to start moddin it than. I don't see why not if I'm just going to finance it afterwards anyway.

 

I goto United , and I had a pretty smooth sell. Went and looked it was the only Silver GTS with Sound and Navi package, rolled off the lot 3 hours later. I'm not worried about the lease, Im more worried about the Warranty.

IMO I feel if they don't detail what you can and can't do, it's their fault of the contract. But I have had no problems with my car, and if so, I got great mechanic friends that will fix it for a sweet deal.

I just got my stick on Vortex Generator's... they look sweet. I wanted to do the full CF strip, but I had to buy it from Singapore, and it was to bulky for my taste. Let's schedule a meet for after the New Year. I will post it on the small LV group I started
