WOW....Las Vegas Motor Speedway Rules

Are you kidding me?!!! So pretty much only bone stock vehicles on midnight mayhem? I'd pretty much say this effectively KILLS any interest anyone will have in the event.

Can't even run race gas? Nothing like going to the track to watch a bunch of 18 second cars run all night. Lame.

No ****. So let me get this straight.....if I have a FAST street car that I don't want to cut up and cage out to complete in the classes the only place I can race it is.....the street. Nice message they are sending here.

Well, looks like you guys can hit up the test and tunes. Thank the guys who couldn't grasp the concept of pulling over after blowing their motor, instead of running down the middle of the track oiling it down.

Anyone remember that dude that ran into the sand pit that one night? It was a Civic hatch. LOL! OMG, Darwin needs to stop letting people off the hook.

yeah I remember it was right after the pit crew cleaned up another mess. Then that moron kept going after the 1/4 and straight up into the sand pit...

That is sad news for the midnight mayhem, I don't know how it will ever work with the new rules. I am sure they will come back to the original rules after no one shows up and the street racing gets out of control again. I hear a couple stories on why they adopted these rules, not because of someone oiling down the track numerous times, more less someone complained about people going in with fake registrations and stolen parts.

Oh and on test and tune they do tech pretty well and will kick you out if you don't have the proper safety equipment. I went through all that, that's why I had to get the cage certified and the rest of the equipment.

See there's the rub. They don't want us to race on the street, but they won't let us bring STREET cars to the track. What exactly do they expect? Nobody is taking a classic big dollar muscle car, 250k+ exotic, etc.....and putting a cage in it. It's just NEVER going to happen.
