I called Fresno this morning to schedule a minor service appt. and was politely informed that they are no longer in business as of last week. Sure enough, when I drove by later, most of their inventory is no longer there. They have a few cars on the showroom floor, including a silver MR with Nav and a Lancer Ralliart. And in the front lot they have 6 cars lined up for sale at insane prices. Among those cars is a RR X with SSS for $29,999 at 0% for 60 mos. I bought the same car from this dealership one month ago today for $31,999 at 0% APR. I'm also sure that the MR is insanely cheap. So if anyone is interested...

I hate to see them go since they've been a fixture in Fresno for many years and their service dept. was top notch. Sadly, I expect to see more of this same thing happening locally with other dealers. Selma Mitsubishi (25 miles away) is still in business, but they might fold as well. In that case, there won't be a single dealer anywhere in the Central Valley of CA.

Here in SoCal we lost Whittier and Duarte.

Glendale Mitsubishi was empty but a week later they had Mitsubishi's back on the lot. They went through what looked like remodeling...don't know what's happenin' with them.

I'm sure there were more than just those that closed, but for now Puente Hills has my business...'til they close.

 

Moving to REgionals

 

That sucks to hear. They were always battling with the So Cal shops for the lowest price on Evo's....looks like it took its toll.

yeah it was in the Fresno Bee afew weeks ago, i am kinda glad they are going, they had the worst service there, i'd rather go to Selma...

Yeah, I called them two days ago to set up a service appointment and was disappointed to hear that they had closed. I think the closest two other dealers are in Merced & Selma. Ugh.

I will miss Barry and his crew, they took very good care of me.

Again, it should be noted that the GSR is Rally Red and has the SSS package. So $29,999 is about $3500 below invoice. And they're still offering the 0% interest rate. Had I waited a month I could have saved $2K. Oh well...
