bro it is great, tested it out today when I was coming home. There is a turn that I use to do it at 60 when I just had springs on now did it at 80 and it was smooth. I love it. I still haven't put in the tires I will do that when I get back.

Hi everyone! It's official, I am coming to Hawaii! I can't wait to meet you guys. I seem to remember seeing a lot of Subarus and no Evos the last time I was visiting.

Quick question, a bit of Googling shows that 92 Octane is prevalent there? Is it relatively easy to find or is 91 easier? We get 93 here, so I'll need to get it to Cobb for a tune before I ship it.

I think you typically see 91 not 92. It's terrible I don't remember considering all 5 cars we have require premium... I know when I retuned my RX7 before permanently moving here, we went with 91 octane assuming 10% ethanol content to be safe. I used to get 94 regularly in Ohio.

100!

you can always get 100 octane on king street, every third wednesday on a full moon on an even month of an even year.

Haha! Tune for 91 it is, then! It's going to be that much harder to get her to 400 now...but I like a challenge.

Also, my tint is not currently at legal limits for Hawaii. Do you guys think it'd be better just to have it removed and then get it redone when I get there, or can I go ahead and have it removed and redone to Hawaii standards while I'm here (and it's cheaper, I assume)?

It's 35% all the way around there, yes? That's what I seem to find...but I can't tell if the little stripe on the top of the windshield is legal there or not.

ETA: I hope someone there has the hookup somewhere I can get a roof rack for surfboards. That will be my first mod once I'm there.

I moved from TX as well so I retuned from 93 to 92 octane since on post that is what is in the pumps... as for the tint.. its cheaper to tint in Texas but I just said F it and left mine tinted.. but my wife is a local so I get my cars inspected anyways Yes 35% all around on cars is the limit.. with a stripe to the AS1 line (I think its approximately 5inches if your car doesnt have one.. mine doesnt) As for reaching 400... its not hard... there's more than 1 X that have done it with just a BBX and bolt-ons with 92octane pump

GET THAT TINT DONE BEFORE COMING HERE!!!
I swear, not even a week after I shipped my car here, I get pulled cause of my tint. Then the officer asked if I wanted to make a deal and take a ticket for no Recon permit or for the tint. Its like a $200 something fine if per window so....... Tried to fight the ticket in court since I really just had my car here for only a week but the judge told me I shouldve done research before bringing the car here. Hope this helps you somehow.
