To answer your question bro, the insepctions and restrictions are a bit crazy. Your car has to be damn near bone stock in order for the cops not to say anything. Although if you know the right people then you might be good. I got pulled over last yr and the cop gave me a ticket for a stock wing.. i won that battle but, that is how **** they can be out here.
What's up evoM Hawaii? I'm getting stationed there at the end of the year and I was wondering how is the evo scene over there? I tried reading all the posts on this thread but I don't have enough time. How are the inspections and restrictions on modified cars over there?
I'm out here @Waikiki. We went to go eat at Sidestreet Inn and saw a black evo 8/9 with gold Advan RGII'S lowered. Saw a WW X on Kapahulu Ave yesterday, had a cf trunk and that's all I could see being 6-7 cars behind you.

when i took my car to get recon, the officials there wouldn't even accept my money. they said it would be pointless. they also said the federal law for the bounce test has been around before the evo's came out in production in the USA. sounds like to me the federal gov needs to update its law.

Nah I heard about that evo....owner says its the clutch...Someone took it for a test drive and it wasnt slipping at all. Said that it was bogging like a bich!! No slip or clutch burning what so ever
