Yup more than likely... Tune with whomever you chose... I'll leave my comments at that... And aside from mr seats in a gsr (which isn't rare and has zero to do with the tune) please amuse me at the rest of the rareness and issues... I am always down for a good laugh?.. Even if your car was euro specs... Which I'm pretty sure it's not even though I have never seen it.... Evo scan would work.. And to write to the ecu if he is using ecu flash you would be good... Just buy an accessport and get with one of the many REPUTABLE tuners on here man, seriously... Save yourself the drama.

Ok so here is my 2cents.. Take it for what it's worth....
Kai MAYBE a "tuner" with some knowledge of cars.. But there are way too many mivec experts here for me to mess with him... Yes an etune through Mitch, clipse, Baka... Just to name a few.... Would cost more than 200 bucks... But the piece of mind that the car is running safely is worth it IMO. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY that Kai can drive your untuned X, create ONE file, and have your car running 100%! It's impossible... That's why Chris blocks off an hour and a half for his tunes here and any real "tuner" doing an etune will have you do a pull on their tune.. Send them logs AND wideband logs (yes they are separate with an X using an ap).. Then they will create another file and you repeat the process... It took Mitch 6 logs before he got my retune knock free and all I changed was intakes and maf housing sizes.. Which caused knock up high. Kai, is a backyard "tuner" and if you chose to use him you are putting your block at risk.. Just saying

Doesn't look like I'm gonna be dropped tonight. Lower mount hardware for the struts wont loosen up. Even used some good leverage with a mediocre breaker bar. My impact gun wont crack the corroded seal that has been created over time due to the lazyness of the previous owner.
Him showing you no ecu id on the screen is easy to do.. Is he using Tephra or ecu scan.. Or which software was it? Eitherway, Kai is lackluster at best.. And I think since you are "patient" Chris black is the way to go.. Just be sure to leak test the car first
