Im scared that it might break one day cause it rebounds off the bar so much......
Maybe I'm just getting bad info but many places I checked said that they were roughly the same weight (at least for my VIS products) and that the flying open fast was dependent on when you put your wing back on or what kind of wing you got. As far as the hood goes, my VIS hood pretty much feels around the same as a stock hood. Got it mostly for bling factor. I do know that some of the CF hoods and trunks are def lighter, especially if you fork out and get the dry. But as far as VIS goes, you are just shelling out for some nice bling

Huh.
Well mine are Seibon so that could also be it.
The trunk flying open thing is with a Factory Stock Wing mounted on a Seibon CF Trunk using the Factory Stock Trunk Springs.
So that has to prove that CF trunks are lighter right?
I cant really say about the hoods anymore.
I forgot how heavy the stock hood is but the CF one I have is still pretty light nevertheless.

LOL at Rob

Whoa I'm all ***t up and mixed up my bad. Researching and it seems that (1) most cf trunks are indeed lighter and (2) most cf hoods are around the same as stock and in some cases heavier

Too many fluid stains already on garage floor. Not to mention I get fined about once every 3 months for working in my car as it is. No need to add ha
