***Official HI Chat Thread***
Both my friends with Z's come out sometimes, my buddy that i used to work with is pushing 650+ running a single big *** pte turbo but still has traction issues running 315's lol. And yah, AMS is always worth it, although I'm opting to tune my car myself, which i hit 290hp/250tq on 18psi on a completely stock usdm fuel/timing map this morning, with 0 knock, so time to ramp up the boost and start tuning
Nice meeting you too man, I had an awesome time despite the monsoon! I woulda stayed longer but my kid was still getting over a cold so I didn't want to keep him out in the rain too long.
I HIGHLY recommend all you other people to come out to the next one. It's the only place you can see what your car is capable of in a safe environment. Doesn't matter if you're bone stock or highly modded. We need more evo's representing! There were only two of us out there for the morning heat but a crap ton of STI's.

I would but I have not upgraded any of my suspension yet, I have the tires(potenza re760 sports) and I just upgraded my rotors, pads and brake lines with the mapeformance s2 kit(which i love) but the car is stock hight and still has some nasty body roll on hard turns lol
Said he drove it all the way down from Sonics to Waipahu just to get the Dyno Tune part in.
So I guess if you wanted a tune from them, you could ask them about it.
I'm running the V12s right now. Do you DD the car? It's a good all around tire, and I only bought them because they do relatively well in ice and snow (I was on the mainland at the time) and I was also driving the car daily. There's better if you want performance and don't get too stupid in the rain...I won't be getting them again next time since I now only drive her on weekends.

Even with stock height/suspension, still fun as heck. Tires are the biggest difference though. Newest street tire of choice is the Dunlop ZII. Most of us street tire guys are running Kook's RS-3's. For the most fun, go R-Comps.
Overall FTD at last event in the POURING RAIN was an EVO X on R-Comp tires in stock class. Wicked fast! Seat time is the best mod for AutoX.
Hope to see more out there. We should make it a meet then cruise!
