that what i say when i see them out there.slicks help times for sure.it's pretty extreme for autoX,but works.a good r-compound tire would work the same out there,plus you can drive home on them also.

well i did hear that the more contact the rubber has wit the road the better the grip. so i guess the fact that slicks are all rubber wit no grooves in them help. but bein the fact that autx ur not goin the fast would be fine wit slicks. but on a road course where u build more speed, do u think slicks would be good?

Most of the seriuos road racers use slicks, Hoosiers and Goodyears being the most popular.

damn slicks on a track. i learn something new everyday.

so whats the problem wit using them on the street then if people use them on the track. all i know about slicks is the suck in wet weather

they wear out fast.the ratings are like 40 or so on them things.slicks are good,but wear down quickly

ronsevo-when do you want me to give you back your rims/tires???
