Dont be fooled by AWD. It is not that easy at all to launch. Its not, dump the clutch and go. Trust me, I know for a fact. Not in the EVOs anyway. There is a slip technique involved. You just know when you get it down. So far everytime I hit the track, my 60 foots have been improving. Got it down to low 1.8s and started off with 1.9s and 2.0s. Maybe this time I can knock off some high 1.7s.
I wont brag. Its just fun. Your buddies might bust your ***** though, not me.

The old drag strip was different, both lanes were good but it was even more uphill than the new one.

I raced on both lanes on my 100 octane map and the only difference for me personally was getting lower trap speeds on the right lane but faster times. Or I run identical times on both lanes, but the trap speed is higher in the left than the right. I did get the *** end sideways on a hard launch once in the right lane, but kept my foot buried in it. The left lane I get some wheelspin. Just enough for a little screech.
The right lane is sticky until about half track, that's when it gets dangerous, the left lane is more consistent all the way down (grip-wise), and you might trap a little higher due to how it levels out sooner. We are pretty much on the same page so far.

Anyone on here in a black Evo at the District last night in Green Valley? I live in the far NW but was over that way last night. I never see any Evos over here. You guys must all live on that side of the Valley for the most part. Just wondering....

much hate I sense in that one.
