Las Vegas Evo's
Anyone have a cat back they want to sell?
IIRC, my registration is going to be like $389 for my 03 VIII
and was over $400 think ($439) for the 06 GSR. That is with vanity plates.

Mine was in the 750 range when I first registered my car. Extra 75 for the vegas plate, and 75 more for custom license number is why. When I renewed it a couple months ago, it was 620. It definitely stings a little bit.
Just so you guys know, you can write most of the regestration off in your taxes at the end of the year. I've done it every time. There's a special spot in the Federal part for states that charge a tax
Hey what are u guys paying for registration on the evo for a year? I have had my evo for a year and I just got my renew form in the mail from the DMV for $520 bucks?????
I got a MR, but the msrp on my form says $31,000 msrp.
Its gotta be a mistake right??????????

Even with my veteran's discount, my registration was $580 when I bought mine last year. Renewal this year was $420. I pay a but extra to get the veteran plates too, so...
BTW, for any of you that are veterans (Manny) or know someone that is, Nevada has a deal where you go to the county assessor office (the same people that charge your property taxes), take a copy of your 214 and register with them. They'll give you a substantial discount on either your home's property tax or your vehicle registration if you don't own a house. For auto registration, the discount is $110, $165 if you are 50%+ disabled. I'm not sure what it is for property tax, but it's a pretty decent chunk of change from what I hear. You can renew it and use it every year as long as you live in Nevada.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Didnt think about claiming it on the taxes at the end of the year. I was just in sticker shock comming from Chicago DMV fees.
On another note is anyone interested in a GG rear bumper with a lite 5mph hit. I got rear ended and got a JDM rear. The hit is very small and it only has a slight imprint of a hit on it with no paint chips. Id let it go for 50 bucks, or make me a offer.
