I cleaned my MAF sensor tonight with some electrical contact cleaner and reinstalled my stock air box. Holy s hit. I dont know where the extra power is coming from. The cleaned MAF or the stock air box. I watched the boost spike to 24-25psi before the ecu grabbed it.

I decided I better go throw in some 100 octane just to be sure.

 

Are you sure it's not just the cold air. And from your sig it looks like you're not running any kind of boost controller.

 

I had the maf delete for some time, I didnt feel a difference

I should be in March 13th. Where do you guys meet up? I have 2 other friends with Evo's coming down as well.

 

Pretty damn sure. I drive the car every day. No boost controller. I will leave that up to the AEM once it is installed.

I need to build a new bracket for my K&N, it sheared off, thats the main reason I reinstalled the stock box. I miss hearing my turbo and the exhuast sounds annoying w/o the BOV.

Also, I am porting my EBAY O2 housing myself, I called Vegas Powdercoating and they can do the ceramic coating in black for $50. Jet Hot coating cost $130. Jet Hot would be the s hit, but its double what I paid for the O2.

If anyone wants one, get it from ssautochrome on ebay, 49.99 plus shipping (16.99) came with the bolts and gaskets.
