YooHoo is my friend

Forgot to mention about the 05 WW - i saw it had a TBE ( i'm gonna guess buschur - it said bullet on the canister ) and an Injen intake and MB wheels. It's pretty nice but there is no way i'm gonna pay 26,9xx for that car. If i can get it for 23,xxx - i'll be happy. Everything is hanging on the promotion list that's coming out tomorrow.

Good luck Alex

Guy watch your running temps as they will get up there if its hot this weekend

Also bring a piece of wood to put under your tires as you dont want to set your e-brake after hot laps as you'l brun your pads to your rotors

^ Just a couple of FYI for you first timers

i'll be at the track Saturday.. if tires last I'll try and make it out on Sunday too.... but try to make it out on Saturday, more locals should be there that day & it will give you sunday to relax and recover.. or if you are crazy come back for more.

If anyone is out there and see me, feel free to ask questions or what not... I'm glad to help out with tips etc. I may come off like a d*ck at first, but I am not

btw - dont need a piece of wood, handbrake is rear drum brake... so oyu can use it without toasting pads to the rotor.

Hope to see you guys out there!

thx bud... yeah, hand brake is drum style.... so it wont warp your rotors. Maybe people that told you either dont own an Evo or just dont know. Commonly, track cars do not have rear drum hand brake so the general rule is not to use hand brake while parked after hotlapping.

Another good thing about coming out on Saturday is that you have all that day to learn the track and the line, then you go home and sleep on it and come back the next day faster guaranteed. It allows you to go home and think about what you are doing and where you can improve your lap times.

as you guys will find out, it is exrememly addicting (pending all goes well for oyu out there).

The summer heat will be an issue, BUT, they do have a nice club house/garage that has A/C and I think they are providing free lunch both days too!!

what a deal.

Nils … are you a SMMR club member? As much as you run, I figure you would be.
