Why is everyone rolling out so damn early? 4am ! geez! I was planning on going about 6:45ish

****ty thing is friday night I need to jack up my car and put my cat on ... as CA is no joke about catless cars (impound and then the car needs to go to smog ref) and I dont feel like being stranded with my car in impound ... on top of it I still have Cali reg.

4am is a good time to leave the strip club … before it starts to get hot on the way to Cali!

<--- has a high flow cat, for those rollin with me!

Its a 4 1/2 hour drive if your haulin **** and dont stop, and dont expect there to not be traffic on the 91. I can care less if its a saturday, it will be packed. Figure 5 hours, and thats being conservative...that gets you there at 9. MOD starts at 10, and Im sure parking wont be easy. Id like to get good spots so we can all park next to each other. 4am wasnt my idea, but if you think about it, its a good one.

Rene and Mike, do I have to pick you slackas up? Theres no way Im gettin up that early, I live like 2 mins from there!

^ its not 4 1/2 hours ... you guys drive slow ....LOL

I use to drive back to the OC every weekend to hang out with my old friends and it took me 3hours 15 min pretty much every time ... best time I ever made was 2 hours 40 min flat in my old IS300 from Southern Highlands to Lake Forest!

Its about a 4 hour ride to MOD from the outlets on LV Blvd. ....well thats only if you stop once in Barstow to take a pee and grab a drink.

Ya but ontario is not far from cojon pass. Thats a normal 2 1/2. Kris, if you take the toll roads (241 to 133 I think), I can hit Laguna and be at my parents house in 3 1/2. But taking the 91 into huntington beach....good luck with that.

What the 91 to the 55? or 91 to 55 to 405 ? or the 210 to the 605 ?

Damn it, Kris! What's with all those numbers! I'm dumb when it comes to navigating Cali. I have to follow somebody, so I don't get lost.

I was thinkin 405, since mitsu is right off one of the exits...I'll have to mapquest it again. I'll make a few copies to hand out on saturday as well.

My point was the 91 is ALWAYS a friggin nightmare, and thats where the extra time comes in. But if you dont want to roll with the cool kids cuz you need your beauty sleep, I understand!!!

I think the best way to get there is 15 South to 210 to the 605

210 to 605 looks way out of the way!

1: Start out going EAST on W WARM SPRINGS RD toward S LAS VEGAS BLVD / NV-604 S. <0.1 miles Map

2: Turn RIGHT onto S LAS VEGAS BLVD / NV-604. 0.5 miles Map

3: Turn RIGHT onto BLUE DIAMOND RD / NV-160. 0.7 miles Map

4: Merge onto I-15 S via the ramp on the LEFT (Crossing into CALIFORNIA). 231.4 miles Map

5: Merge onto CA-91 W toward BEACH CITIES. 8.5 miles Map

6: Keep LEFT to take CA-91 EXPRESS LN toward 91 EXPRESS TOLL (Portions toll). 9.0 miles Map

7: CA-91 EXPRESS LN becomes CA-91 W. 9.9 miles Map

8: Take the BEACH BLVD / CA-39 exit- EXIT 23B- toward BUENA PARK. 0.2 miles Map

9: Turn LEFT onto BEACH BLVD / CA-39 S. 3.7 miles Map

10: Turn RIGHT onto KATELLA AVE. 1.5 miles Map

11: End at 6400 Katella Ave
Cypress, CA 90630-5208, US Map

Total Est. Time: 4 hours, 1 minute Total Est. Distance: 265.86 miles

Thats easiest way. Its only 2 freeways, and the simpler the directions while caravaning the better. 15 to 91, get off on beach blvd, right on katella. Easy peasy.
