Corey and I found out why my car is hanging around 2000 rpms. The backfire on the dyno burnt up the idle speed control servo. Need to get a new one and looks like its might be expensive.

Maybe I'll run strait 100 and we'll see if it will hold some extra timing then. with about 96oct(mix) it would not, at 25psi that is. LOL I just want to see how fast a stock VIII with MBC can go. Probley fast enough to break off any WRX in town. Except for the one in my garadge with a slippin clutch.
13.4@102mph with 1.8xx 60' without flash and bald tires. The new advans and some timing Only need better then 13.1 to best Flat4's fastest STI right now.

mine has been doing the same lately. Sometimes when I stop on a red light it stays at 2000 rpm and it wont go down to 1000. I have to hit 1st gear couple times to get it down. I'll find out later, maybe its just the base map. I did my second oil change last night, 500miles and its on!

 

Just called Mitsu and found out the ISC servo is gonna cost $380. Part number is MD628318. Someone got a hook up or something? Help a brotha out.

 

If its money you want from me, you know you gotta get your knees dirty right?

 

Doesn't someone work at the Mitsu dealer in Henderson? Maybe I can get a discount or something.
