you don't have to bleed it, there's a way to disconnect without draining.

There's a few ways to do it, if you have to take the banjo bolt off.

Many shops put the car up in the air, and run it in 2nd gear, and open the bleeder screw, untill there's no more air bubbles comming out

Some shops will have someone get in the car, turn they key to the on position, and hold down the gas pedal for 3-5 seconds, and the pump will cycle. Do this untill there's no more air bubbles comming out of the bleeder.

You need 2 people to do this, so con a friend into helping.

When re-installing the transmission back to the block, if there's about 1 1/4 inches left between the bellhousing, and the block, is that safe to assume that the input shaft is in the clutch ?

I have gotten the shaft into the clutch disk from what i can see, but it will not go on any further.. there's just over and inch left to go, and it will not budge.

Anyone got any tips?
