Las Vegas Evo's
i had my first jackass SRT-4 try to race me today on my way home from work, since getting my evo. i saw them stupid little bug eyes in my rear view and then pull up on my driver side. the jackass blow off on me. thats when i rolled down my newly super dark *** tint and flicked him off. at that point he slowed down and left me alone.
ahhh....it was great

I had one do the same thing to me in the Datsun.
there is a different type of breakin that is controversal. Its recomended by MC dealers but not too often car dealers. Basicly beat the snot out of the engine for the first 1k. Supposed to seat the rings better in the newer cars. Not one person that has done this has had issues that I know of. Yet if you havent done it by the firts 200mi, then forget it. Too late.
Wish I knew about it when I got the IX. We babied it for 6oo miles.

I ran a bit of boost through mine a couple times in the 600 mile break in. I just didnt take it past 5k rpm till 600, then 6k rpm till 1000 miles.
Couple quick boost blasts up to 5-5500 is good to seat the rings is what I figured.

this is how I broke in my last few cars, all have ran noticeably strong. Now I don't believe in abusing the clutch though. Read this and decide for yourself... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
Might be another 500+ whp Subie coming to town. Look at the last post.
