Las Vegas Evo's
It was a motorcycle cop. And I wish I had a scanner right now I would scan the ticket just to show you. I tried to take a pic of it with my camera but the writings too small and it comes out to blury when I zoom in to take it that close. It's one of the reciept lookin ones the bike cops give out.
hey streetx, it was a 36 in a a 30 on twain. mike called me after he got it.
mike wouldnt lie about it to me. No need for fighting. Mike is pretty respectful considering that he has had numerous tickets. He doesnt hate cops in fact his friend( me) is in background process with HPD.
On another note I did get pulled over by a metro van on the 215 for 70 in a 65...
i was a little puzzled at first but what can you do.

Dude, I got like a 54 in a 35 and received a $300 ticket and a mandatory court date three weeks before I left for Korea. F uck it, I just gave it to Craig P. Kenny and called it a day. Six months later the city raised the speed limit to 45 on Craig where I received my ticket earlier. Go figure.

sucks to hear about the break ins.. not sure if anyone is in the market for a CF hood, but while i was washing my car today some guy asked if i was interested in a brand new siebon. i went and checked it out and it was a brand new oem style hood. im not ready to spend the $$ on that right now but if anyone else is then i can give you his number or something, if not then oh well. drive safe...
Sorry to hear about all your misforunes. Bad day for evo owners I guess. Sorry to hear.

The red light I ran on the other hand, was 100% my fault.
Yeah I've been pulled over for doing 5 over as well. Didn't get a ticket but he checked out my stuff to make sure I was cool. Let me off but still pulled me over for doing 50 in a 45....Assumed he was there for a while bored and the best he got was me doing 5 over so he pulled me over. People get pulled over for silly stuff all the time...one guy in the Euro club got pulled over for "advertisements" on his car....pulled over for stickers on his car. Haha. Depends on the cop and the day IMO
it seems like you guys just have bad luck. Because i do not know a single cop that would pull over any car for 5 over unless there were other mitigating factors. But sorry to hear all the misfortunes with the police.
And no jesse i ended up not getting rid of it, i went back to stock and and just trying to figure out what direction i want to take the car.

Lets just clear up this quota myth. Bike cops do not have a quota... nor does patrol. Some areas are more stat driven then others so if you come in with no paperwork u will likely be asked why. It does not differ from any other job... if your sole job is to write tickets and investigate accidents and then you don't come in with any tickets whatsoever then thats a problem. Motor units have a job to do and even if that job is to solely write tickets to people who violate traffic laws no matter how minor thats their job and maybe its just bad luck on your guys' end. So here is the quota that traffic cops follow as a rule : 12 tickets a day. Thats not 12 peices of paper.. On each form you can write 2 tickets, on each traffic stop a motor unit could probably find 3-4 violations which is 3-4 tickets... ie tint, exhaust, speed, mirror obstructions, lowered vehicle, tail lamps, wrong color headlights, wrong color tail lamps, license plate lights, address changes through dmv, and so many others i could spend 5 paragraphs just going through the cite guide and nrs. Are motor cops more prone to giving out bogus tickets.... yes probably.... but hey thats there job is to cite people for breaking traffic laws. And in that sense... they are just doing there job.
