Painting it wont hurt it unless, u use ceramic imbeded paint or put put like 50 coats of regular paint. It will act the same way it does on a ceramic coated header and keep the heat in.

Just use a regular black spray paint.

your are partially correct sir. It will keep the heat in, the problem is.. the purpose of an intercooler is to disperse heat as efficiently as possible.

Ditto on helping us out - please spend your money here!

What is it that you want to do while you're here? Hook up with some ladies? Have really good food? Drive a Ferrari/Lamborghini? Shoot an automatic weapon?

Vegas can help you do all of those things (legally!) and we can point you in the right direction to maximize your fun dollars.

Hey Twabtoxer,

Man, your s/n makes me grin every time I read it.

I think all residents of Las Vegas, in a sense, work for the Visitor & Convention Authority. We're the only state in the nation where we have no state income tax, no state business revenue tax, *AND* property taxes < 1% annually.

If you look at other states w/o income taxes like WA, TX, and FL, they get *creamed* in property taxes. I know a couple living in TX and they're paying 6% a year for property taxes. They've already "bought" their house twice now.

The only way we can achieve the services we have with our low tax rate is basically tourism and gaming taxes. Soooo . . . I figure it this way: we (as residents) promote Vegas and help tourists have a great time. Tourists spend money here and support our local economy through gaming, hotel, rental car, and entertainment.

Gaming, hotels, rental car agencies, and entertainment creates jobs and more taxes, thus helping us maintain our amazing city and state. Everyone wins.

Keep boostin'!

Seriously Joe? You think I don't know that? lol Im not as stupid as i look! lolol

What I ment was a thin coat of normal (not ceramic or high temp) paint wont destroy performance if you absolutly have to have a black IC. The prefered option would be to by a black on to begin with that has been powder coated I think.
