Well after looking at that used 04 link the guy said his compression test was 165's. When I did compression test it was 150,145,150,150. So my motor might not haven't been in good health **** who knows maybe from the point I dropped it in? My ecu controlled boost wasn't working that great I couldn't get boost down I switched over to psi based a month or so ago and even with wgdc @ 30% it would still be able to hit 33psi. I had some I thought phantom knock between 2500 & 3800 during part throttle I guess was prob real knock. The meth injection didn't fail on me and steve had 100oct in his car so our motors going weren't from lack of octane

I'm gonna take the head of not this weekend but prob next cuz I'm moving, so we'll see if rod's still there..I'm sure piston probably exploded I think I found pieces of it

 

lol! I was at the same canyon you were in last week...I was enjoying the 12 mile road and forgot to take pix...i had to pull over once cause the wifey had to yack...hahaha my son kept saying faster dad, faster!!!
