Hey guys, I just wanted to see what your guys thoughts and opinions/advice on this were. I am going to try to get on the 2009 list for stock turbo record for 2009. The time to beat to get #20 on the list is listed

20. neonglh / 8-7-09 / Street Tuned Motorsports / 2003 Evo 8 / stock engine, evo 9 turbo, AEM EMS, 28 psi, 100 octane / 11.906

I'm not the best driver out there, but I think with the right little setup and enough cajones to push my car I can break that. I want to represent the Vegas community, Trevtec motorsports and DDP, when I get the car tuned on E-85. I just picked up a 9 turbo from lvmevo that he hooked it up and Trevor has a guy that is going to port it for me.

My only down fall I think is my 6 speed gearing and my 18" street tires. After all my parts get put in I want to push to get around 400 whp @ 28-30 psi on a ported 9 turbo. Am I swinging for the fence on this one? or do you think its attainable. mods list.

stock motor, stock head
ported 9 turbo
1000cc injectors
BR Race core FMIC
Trevtec custom exhaust
BR intake filter
forge MBC
BR ported exh mani
BC springs/retainers
272 m2 cams
255 walbro pump
trevtec custom upper/licp
forge bov

thanks for reading my long post any info/advice would be appreciated.

definitely obtainable.
I ran 11.79 with a similar setup, just smaller injectors and the old buschur fmic on 100 octane.

Others have run quicker here in vegas with VIII's and IX's, Steve and Dan come to mind...

I know Manny was running 12.0's all day long with just basic bolt ons and 100 octane with his MR. I think 11.9's should be no problem for you with a little seat time.
