Hey guys..... I know Doug is great for a lot of things... but i'm not sure how he'd be willing to go as far as putting on parts.... He told me a clutch and flywheel wouldn't be a problem.... but parts such as 02 housing and exhaust manifold .... new FMIC..... stuff like that..

Who do we trust in Vegas to do good work?

Mark

My buddy Brian has been doing lots of work on all of my cars over the past 5 years or so.. (wow it's been that long..) .. He is supertuner on here.. He doesn't frequent but will chime in on this thread every so often. Great guy.. hit him up.

On a side note, Doug could do all of that too.. he's cool.. but so is Brian!

Oh by the way, I was able to put in the new spark plugs on my own.. only problem being that I couldn't bring down the gap size on those plugs.. these iridium ones really don't like to budge.. but I did a test pull and had only a very small sputter. I'm hoping with the COP it'll go away completely and I won't have to take them back out and beat on them with a hammer to gap em.

I wouldn't use the P version of the plugs. Those are projected tips. Not really the hot ticket with an EVO.

For sure. Off this site, it shows the projected tips being different than the OE iridiums.. so I should be in the clear..

Those coppers are for 8's, just so you guys know. Like Harvey said, the IX uses a completely different (longer thread) plug. I believe there is a copper one out for the 8's but I would DOUBLE CHECK with a few of the spark plug threads on here they are the correct ones.
