Las Vegas Evo's
6k will be fine Robert, thats pretty much the standard everyone sets at =)
You really need to step off that pedal fast, let em spin! Thats why I had mine at 5800 and usually set it there, it was just enough spin and no bog at all. If it bogs, thats no bueno. If it spins too much, it will bog when you make the shift to 2nd. And when its spinning, the rpm should hang at like 6500 for what feels like eternity haha. Wait till it starts really climbing in 1st and shift at like 7200 to 2nd. From 2nd shift where your comfortable, but really let it climb on that first shift so it doesnt bog going into 2. I cut consistent 1.70 to 1.73's doing exactly that. Drop that 60' and you should get 2-3 tenths out of it on your final time!

lol oooook i guess access port is a touchy subject in the evo world. i liked it because it was stupid simple and yielded decent results for plug in play in previous cars. looking for somthing simple plug and play w/ maps i can dl then upload and not a dent to my wallet.
