really. i thought wit 272 it was recommend but not necessary to upgrade the valve train. so i just thought the 280 would bring more lift and duration it might not it done. but hey. at times its better safe than sorry.

my evo is my baby and i dont ever plan on getting rid of it. so i want it to last a long time. we all know mitsu aint the most reliable japanese car. so if im mess wit the engine, its good to build it up right.

It is all good. If you are going to do it right and the car is your baby i have some suggestions that I can give you from my experiences.

ya its a monster. he be beating lambo, ferarris, porches, and z06 vettes on a roll wit it. he recently beat a viper and a AMG. i do know much about TREVTEC, but i guess hes been tuning and building cars for a while.

ya the turbo on james car is a prototype (according to james). so i guess he does fab turbos.

im all for suggestions. i listen to all suggestions when it comes to the evo. i try to take the best from all worlds and hopefully apply that to my car.

he hasnt track or dyno'd it yet. he goin out on feb 25 to track it at midnight mayhem. but i guess since he beat that AMG that run like a mid 11's...hes gotta be in that range. well find out soon.

he is just tuning it by himself with the SAFC-II. he needs a flash so he can raise his rev limiter and get the full potential of his turbo and 272s.

his name on here is "trevotec" but he rarely on. he spends most of his time chasing down the big boy V8's.

u gotta remember or know that vegas aint like cali. we dont have any real good tuners or dynos. so we just sh*t out of luck unless we take a trip to cali.

Some trips are worth it in my opinion. If a great tuner was in LV I would travel out there to get the job done right.

corey, john, and casey went to cali to do tunes a couple of months back. so we are down for that kind of journey

Did the AMG that he ran run mid 11s or is that just what you think an AMG runs based off of Magazines etc.
