alex, go with a ACT for about $500 or Excedy. Trevtech says he charges about 400 to 500 to put it in. I called just to see. Damn, one launch and the clutch is shot?

Ok, so you guys can afford 30k cars, and choose to go to unqualified, backyard mechanics for your clutch jobs?

I recieve absolutely no compensation for this, but I have to say that 25 years experience with Mitsus/Hondas/Nissans/Toyotas goes a long way.

Do yourselves a favour and at least call LDL...you can get datalogged for a perfect A/F ratio there (No matter what engine management system you have..they are trained in them all SDS/EMS/Haltec/Greddy/flashed Ecus).

Clutches/swaps/engine building/headwork/tuning/any installs..you name it.

Rowdy, find out a price for a clutch install. I'd be interested when mine goes bad. Trevtech has a shop. I don't know if he's certified, but he has mucho experience with DSMs and knows these cars well.

Alex (vegasboy), your clutch is bad also? I thought Gonzo's is shot, not yours.

You know, I'm very concerned about who works on my car and their skills. I want a shop that takes their work seriously and runs a clean shop. I don't want a hack job with missing and untorqued bolts, damages, etc. I want the job done right and don't mind paying a little more for good work.

As of now, I had no problems and warantee work. All the mods done I did myself and took my time and did them right, but there are things that I will need a pro to do, so i would like a shop that I can trust.
