L**R meets tend to attract the lowest common denominators. Thats why I asked.

Tr***tec (The shop that owns L**R.net), is the most filthy/shady/unqualified performance shop in LV. I am not wrong with this - the owner is not certified in any of the A.S.E. classes (competent but far from qualified), and has screwed many people out of their performance dollar (Just like MP has). Please feel welcome to shoot me a PM for elaboration, I have a lot of history about this and will be happy to share with anyone interested.

I used to be a service writer at Honda West here in LV, (I had to quit because my son was coming soon and the 12 hour days didn't work for me). Point is, I know how important those certifications are.

What I'm trying to say is, if you have these much better than avarage performance cars (with so much potential) - try to be original and congregate with a more elite crowd.
(Use a certified builder/tuner as well). Those In-N-Out meets merely gather the more immature/bitter/ricer folks that will stop at nothing to put their point across.

Not trying to put anyone down - merely trying to inform. I have been racing here in town since '99 and have 316 dragstrip passes under my belt, (12.5 @ 110 to all the way up). Autocrossed too, did quite well..3rd place all year in DM class back in '02. I have had plenty of street races under my belt too

 

I don't talk to any of those "other" guys. Just the evo's and subie's. Those ricers are ****ing stupid. They keep asking to run and I tell them I don't do that ****. By the way the track is open friday, who is all going.

If Tr**T*** is poopie, and MP is poopie, who would you reccomend as a qualified/informed person to work on our EVO's?
I ask because I plan on doing a bit of work to mine and I DON'T want my pride and joy f**ked up. By the by, do you have any idea where one might acquire Evo7 bumpers (F & R) and an EVO7 hood??

I agree wholeheartedly that the Evo owners should find a better place to meet as IN-N-OUT is riddled with ghetto children.

I have an excellent shop to recommend .. they are located in the LVMS speedway complex and have been working on japanese cars since 1984, (See my sig for the phone numer and thank me later ).

LDL is usually open late till 8pm or so during the week, I am there every Friday night from 6 to 9 pm too if anyone needs some quality pics taken of their cars. (I am a photographer for LVracingscene.com).

You will be thoroughly impressed when you see all the magazine articles on the walls in the showroom,(not to mention just talking to the shop owner Dennis). 10 second cars is what Dennis does (and everything in between), he is ASE certified in welding/engine builing/12 volt electronics and has produced many 10 second cars.

Don't take my word for it though, call them yourselves and see what they can do for you. Those Evos are expensive cars, don't let some of the local yahoos elsewhere **** up your investments.

I don't know where to find those body parts, but am quite sure that a google search will help yield some results, (maybe some hits on LDL Speedshop/Dennis Liongson too).
