Moving to Fullerton, CA. Whats up?

Hey everyone. My brother and I are perusing a business opportunity in Fullerton and if all goes well I'll be out there in a month or so. Can you guys/gals give me the low down on the scene in the area. What to look out for. 5.0 situation. Local drag strips, etc.

If there is anyone that lives near rolling hills and brea blvd please pm me! I have a small request.

I just moved from Fullerton, CA to Phoenix, AZ. I can definitly answer alot of your OC questions.

1. CA laws for aftermarket modifications are VERY STRICT. Beware. Ref tickets suck.
2. check out socalevo.net, orange county region forum. I am Princess on that forum too.
3. Buena Park Evo Meet is AWESOME. 30-40 evos every wednesday night and it's only like a 15 min drive from Fullerton.
4. Check out the local businesses Muellerized in Anaheim (suspension), Massimo Power (clutches, fluid flushes, etc.) in Whittier, HB Speed in Huntington Beach (tuning) and Rally Innovations in Anaheim ( lights bars, harness bars, etc.), all are very good shops.
5. Toshis sushi bar in Garden Grove is king.

Damn Princess, I didn't know you moved to Az.

She hit just about everything you need to know regarding shops and Popo. They will use any excuse or even no excuse to pull you over. Best bet is to make sure of the following:

1. Remove any tint you have, especially in the O.C.
2. Ensure you have a ft license plate
3. Rid yourself of a canister muffler if you have it
4. Remove the wing until you are going to the track

Also,

No local 1/4 around except for about 2 times per year certain places setup a 1/4 mile event. They suck because you have to wait a couple hours in line to even get in, then the Honduhs tear up the track with oil everywhere

Go to www.socalevo.net

I am 1wkdevo on there

Good luck

So cali has a no tint law?

I'm not concerned about any shops really. I'm an automotive technician and no one works on my vehicles but me.

You can't have anything in the front. Except for clear UV blocking type.
