If you have any interest in picking up some of the Mickey Tompson 26x7x17 drag slicks, the same tires guys like Buschur, AWD Motorsports, and the Puerto Ricans have been ripping off high 8/low 9 second passes with 1.3s 60's, I've got some bad news.

Mickey Thompson no longer allows the auto tire retailers to sell the motorcycle slicks. What does this mean?

First off it means you are no longer getting a smoking deal on these tires becuase it pretty much killed competition. From what I have found, you are paying $190 a tire, regardless of where you get them from. If somebody knows something different, post up because I'd be happy to pay less.

Second, they are $190 a piece but you get hammered $30+ a tire on shipping from most places. I having been talking to a company about ordering 4 or more and basically, we could add the tires together into one order and save a bunch of money on shipping and get a small break on the price for quatity orders.

I would just be organizing the order, transfering funds as one group, and recieving the tires and getting them out to everybody. I don't want to make anything on this, I just don't want to get hammered on shipping if I can avoid it. If there is any interest, post up or send a PM.

 

I will be interested in a Set and I believe a friend too. What is the Price for a Set of 4 then? and Where in Utah are you? I am in Orem/Provo area.

Because all it's doing is splitting up shipping costs, it's not a huge discount. But every little bit helps. This is with the set I will be purchasing.

Normal Retail is $850 a set

1 sets @ $825 a set
2 sets @ $800 a set
3 sets @ $775 a set

I also have a friend at a tire shop, I can probably get a good price on mounting them as well.
