Those who are attending the meeting this Saturday please keep this in mind. The park that we are meeting at is around a neighborhood so those of you who have intakes and exhausts, please keep them at low rpms and refrain from revving your engines when you approach the park. I don't want people calling the cops only have the meeting broken up.

 

Well I don't think I will be able to make the meet. But maybe next time. Just wanted to represent for the So Cal Lancer owners.

i wouldnt even goto a meet if my car was hooked up to the max.....im too paranoid as is when kids try to break into my brothers car or steal parts off his car when he parks in the driveway all the way up to the gate by the backyard with my car blocking his and my dads work truck blocking mine in...so these fools are about 40ft on my property inbetween houses without anyone seeing it ****in with our ****................

I'll show up to the meeting in my dads spare work truck...a 1989 Toyota Pickup truck =]

This meeting isn't a Lancer only event, anyone can show up. It's more like a gathering of people who share common interests in cars, Lancers, Evolutions, Rallying, or just import tuning. As far as a confirmed head counts goes they're 7 members from this board so far and I'm still waiting to hear from 10 more. As for food, I will provide but I am not sure if I can accomadate everyone due to lack of $$$. I will bring a grille so we can get some barbque done. If anyone wants to bring something to cook, drink or munch on, it would be greatly appreciated by me and the other members who plan to attend.

 

What does going to a meeting have to do with kids breaking into your car? Don't let paranoia keep you from showing off your ride, meeting new people and making new friends. i think that what happened to your brother was an unfortunate isolated incident and happens to everyone in some way or another. For a car that's "fixed up to the max" doesn't he have a good alarm system to go with it? Not everyone in this world is out to rob you my friend, so chillax and come to the meeting but wait, your name says nyclancer so I assume that you're out in New York? so the point of your reply was what?

 

Anything spicific I should bring? Hot Dogs? Hamburger patties?

 

You know I'll be there even though I'm completely done modding my car after the accident where I should have died. Yup, and that it's right by my house and I gotta meet some of my homies I met through this board. Hell ya, werd em up, smoke sesh at Tony Twotokes' afterwards LOL...

hey, off topic and all but am I gonna be the only minority there, don't wanna feel awkward being the only chinky-eyed fella

also, are there some grocery stores near there in case we need to make some extra food runs?

btw, I know the youngest there is like 16, 17? but damn I don't wanna be the only semi-old guy

 

there's a Vons right around the corner so that shouldn't be a problem. Age and race shouldn't be an issue for this is a multi-cultural event. I'm a 24 year old Vietnamese dude with an open mind and have tons of friends with different ethnic backgrounds but we all share common interests; cars, hot chicks, videogames and herbal refreshments.

 

Man that's so cool, now I don't feel as old and outcasted

Btw, I lived near Westminster for awhile so I know that the Viet ladies are freakin hot (well, the fine ones that is ) ...hint, bring some out!
