hey guys, i'm trying to compile a list of southern california lancer owners who would be interested in future gatherings and drives. this way we can meet and discuss ways to improve performance and at the same time meet new people and make new friends. I've already organized several contacts from major companies for group buys with nice discounts. I will attempt to organize the first group meeting sometime this month. socal lancer club will be in full effect by the end of may. if you are interested post only your first name, age, location and the car that you drive so i can check attendance at the first meeting. if you see me on the streets honk and say wassup.

I'm looking to not buy the Evo when it comes out next year but I want to build up my car so that I can attempt to keep up with the Evo. I just can't see paying over $30k for an Evo. When for $30k I could probably, with the right help, build up my cars performance to keep up with the Evo. I don't know am I just day dreamin here?

 

Your dreamin... I've driven the Evo and there is no way a US Lancer will ever be able to compete. Sorry.

 

hey guys, the purpose of this thread was to compile a list of socal lancer owners who show interest in attending future gatherings and events, please keep it at that. lance, your topic has been discussed ten times over already in this forum, if you do a search you will find them. if you do go to the first meeting this month you will leave with tons of information and facts on aftermarket parts. i am sure there will be other members who will already have parts installed on their lancers. the target date for the upcoming gathering will be on MAY 18, 2002. That should be on a SATURDAY. However this date maybe subject to change depending on weather conditions, unforseen events or uncontrollable acts of god. Anyone who might be interested in lending a hand in this project is more then welcomed. I will post more info later when everything is set in stone.
