That looks cool! Is there a decent parking lot for us to park in? At that price, I think one race is all I could afford if any, but it does make a cool place to meet. Richard, any comments/suggestions/decisions?

dromo one is a affirmative for me. Its down the street from my house.
FYI: It is a indoor go cart racing warehouse. They go max 35 mph. The cost is 25$ a person. You must have an account. Account are free. It is worth it until they rasied the price 5 dollars. If its your first tim here, then its worth the 25. All the gear is free.

You get about 12 minutes of track time. Thats about 15-20 laps.

It is pretty fun we did it for the 1st part of a bachelor party i went to. We drove then went and partied. Pretty fun. There is a big parking lot on the side of the warehouse that we can fit in. The block at orange is right down the street if we need to move and it is a huge parking lot with plenty of things to do there, movie, eat entertainment, shop etc.

uhh....i believe you were a bit mis-informed. The block is about 10 minutes away. The movie area across the street is the PROMENADE. there used to be a giant arcade. but now it is the resting place of restored classic cars. from the early 20's to the late 70's. There is a few dining areas...
IT is just down the street at chapman and state college. I worked down the street for 2 years. I know that the other one is just across the street but the block is essentially just down the street =)
If it takes you 10 minutes to get the the block you drive slow, i bet we could do it in 3 hehehhe

Unfortunately there will not be a meeting this month. I have been swamped with working two jobs and taking care of bills. Being so tired mentally and physically I have neglected my duties as SCLC prez. Apologies to all our members. I am however considering a trip to CAL SLAM but that is currently under discussion between RRM and I.
well i guess that kills this months idea, maybe next month. And if people decide to go to dromo1 you can always rent the place out for like an hour so we can run more races and such so that we dont have to pay 25 per race.

hey i live in west hills. im just lettin u know about a car meet that happens every thursday night at corbin and plummer at the k-mart parkin lot. bout 30-40 cars show up every thursday night from 9:30-till whenever and they just chill. so far one lancer has been there. all kinds of rydes go, so if u want u can go. tell all ur friends.
