well theres good news and bad news

the good news is that my car is started, but its running like crap so that meants theres some damage internally, so im getting some new pistons, rings, rods, headgasket and a few other parts. also im working out a deal with my dealer to install the parts free of charge for a possible sponsorship (woohoo)

the bad news is i will not be attending the meet tomarrow. due to lack of transportation

still have 18" wheels for sale, will fit ES, LS, and OZ.

and i 100% agree with plastic.

Im sorry Plastik for intervening in this personal issue. I shouldnt have even done so, because im not an SCLC member. I just respect Kara so much that I snapped for a second there. Im sorry too Kara for nosing in on this private issue. Oh wait, Im not an SCLC member... I guess I cant come to the meeting huh? (I never was recruited as a member by Plastik). This sucks. Life sucks. Being sick really ****in sucks.

 

Iamkar33m you dont have to be a member to join in on any of the meets, just show up enjoy yourself, get to know everyone and have a good time. thats what we are all about, and also trying to grow and become a full-out club.. i also am unsure on my membership.. never really asked to join i just goto the meets when i am able to which is kind of hard with my weekend job..

I cant summon the courage to face you people. As much as I want to meet you all... What I did to Plastik and Kara was wrong and they are highly respected members of the SCLC club. Also Stewart decided he cant come anymore, which absolutely sux... that also influenced my decision. Sorry people, maybe ill come if someone talks me into it or if I get really bored tomorrow afternoon.

Excellent. Karlen you just saved the day. Everyone ,the club doesn't have any recruiters or anything of that sort. You come as you please. No fees and the food is free. If anyone has been following this thread then everything should be self explainatory. Why do people have the impression that they have to be recruited into the club? SCLC is on a come as you please bases. The reason why I post meeting info in this forum is so that everyone can read it and decide on their own if they want toattend or not. Come and participate. How can anyone turn down a chance to eat good food and talk about cars? Kareem, you've done nothing wrong buddy so come on down. This is a forum whre people come and speak their minds and you've done just that. Nothing wrong with that. And Forty, you're already on the rosty man. no worries!

Hmmm, lets see... Rally set the level from 49% going to 51% going. Richard set the level from 51% going to 99.99999% going. Looks like there is a good chance ill be there, I have a prior engagement... but ill ditch it just to meet with u fun peeps.

yes...hector and i will be brining the bbq, but i warn you now, its a mini one, enough for about 10 hotdogs and 4 hamburgers (i think?) We also did NOT purchase any carne asada so someone please bring some. If there is anything else that needs to be bought we will see what else is needed when we get there. See you guys tomarrow.
