OK guys meet discussion for SoCalEvo.net Meet #5 is well underway. We have a set location and meeting time already, with a few "little" details to be hashed out soon. I'm too lazy right now to post all the details, but the premise behind this next meet is a "Evo Tech Day". We will be inviting several vendors/shops to join the meet (some have already been invited & confirmed), so we can get together and talk shop. We had a trememdous turnout at the last meet, 27 Evo's I believe, and this next meet promises an even larger turnout! The meet is set for 11:00am at the Tustin Marketplace. 11am seems to work best for most people. The L.A. guys will be meeting at the Best Buy parking lot on Pico/Sawtelle at 9:45 to convoy down to Tustin. I see close to 40 Evo's as a deffinate possibility this time. We had 27 last time, and at least 5 no-shows (unfortunately including myself), so with any luck including vendor Evo's we could see a HUGE number!!

 

Here is the direction for the LA guys, from Best Buy at Pico to Tustin Market Place. Remember to meet at Best Buy around 9:45, we leave by 10AM

Very cool. I am still not sure if I can go but I have been reading these threads for a long time and I've been hoping I can make a meet with you guys soon.

I have a Black Evo that is all stock and I am currently just looking for simple mod’s that don’t cost an arm and a leg.

 

 

Damn I knew it was gonna be on nov 2nd. It just had to fall on that day Its my GF birthday and even though i would love to take her to the meet, I don't think she'd want to spend her day there

Evo RPM...bring your GF man, I brought mine on her birthday!!!! That was cool beans man hehe. And if you can't stay the entire time, oh well, I don't think your GF would mind if you just popped by and got counted. Bring it, but if you can't...see ya in December. Guys, I'm making serious headway with vendors and shops. I have three fairly big names already committed to coming, and am sending out more emails today, and taking a day off of work tomorrow to visit in person a couple other places. This is gonna be tight guys!!

Ya I hope things go well at the stealership. Hey did you install the Teins and electronic dampening controller? How do you like it? What are your overall impressions with the system? Also exactly which ones did you end up with (pillow mounts or not)?

 

nope, I actually bought them, then my money was refunded because they were out of stock and they didn't want to hold my money. This was like 3-4 months ago...hey send me a PM and we'll talk or I'll see you at the meet...I wanna keep the thread on topic hehehe.

 

Can I still come, Rich?? Dammit I need to get a good-paying job in Cali so I can come back. BTW, I will be in town from Dec. 6th to Dec. 13th. Maybe you guys will have a meet and let me ride shotgun with someone while my Evo chills in the garage here in VA...
