No its out at stead airport.

35 bucks for 1 session. One session is usually between 4-6 runs most of the time you get 5.

You work the course when your not running but its really not that bad. Its the last one of the year.

Im usually the only evo out there on a regular basis, sometimes my buddy comes out .

Hey guys. I think my clutch is going out (feels like intermediate slippage) and was wondering what a good shop to go to would be. Neuspeed recommended Alan and im going to call him to get a quote tomorrow, but was wondering if there were any other shops that i should consider that might be a little cheaper.

My evo8 got a complete clutch (before I bought it) for $1,800 at Bavarian. There on Grove Street. I thought that was pretty expensive, but I heard they were pretty good.

Man, it was sure wierd how it only slipped at certain times that night. I cant figure out why it only slipped at some points. Like i said once my stock clutch started to slip, it slipped every pull. Maybe the 8 clutch doesnt wear so fast when its ready to go?

I think its cause its not that far gone yet. It'll only do it in 3rd gear cause theres more load in 3rd than 1st and 2nd. Also nothing against allan, but he quoted me 995 dollars for the labor and then i still have to spend 500 for the clutch. SpeedElement quoted me 1349 and that included labor, fluids, clutch (ACT HDSS) and a RRE lightened flywheel. Since i dont need the flywheel im gonna call them on Monday and see how much it would be to just turn the flywheel.

True. Ill just have to see how much they will charge w/o the flywheel. If its around 1100 than id save money even driving out to SpeedElement and i dont have classes on Fridays, so id just have to make an appointment then to get it done. It would be easier to just get it done at Allans, but 1500 dollars for everything is really expensive. Ive also been wanting to go out to the Bay Area. I may just make a weekend out of it with the GF and go to SF

It was a ridiculously fun and fast course. I spun the car WOT in second gear near the limiter, that one was intense but still fun. Now no autoX till next april. what to do?

glad you got your clutch worked out.
