Ugh, looks like I'll be losing sleep again. My sputtering issue has returned. Just ordered new spark plug wires, hopefully that cures the problem...
Btw, I am trying to get all the truckee evos down to cruise to vc, there should be 6 of us if it works out (4 from the same house haha)

Is your sputtering happening in a low idle when the car is cold? Or does it do it all the time? I had a bad sputtering when cold, and found out from tripperfx that it was the 02 sensor going out. A quick download rom manipulating the code that checks the 02 sensor, then uploading the modified rom back to the ECU fixed it! no more sputter. I also had sputter at times when i had spark plugs gapped too far apart.

We'll usually meet up and cruise for a little bit. Total of about 2-3 hours. Obviously, you could leave early if you got something going on.

No, it only happens at WOT, I'm pretty sure it is ignition related. I just need to swap coils with another evo to narrow down the problem when I have the time.

Mine was breaking up at WOT and it was the spark plugs. Its gotta be between the plugs, wires, or coils. Also double check the gap as well.

Ha, no that wasn't me. I just changed the plugs from one step colder iridiums to one step colder copper ones. I thought that fixed the problem but no such luck. Gapped to .025. Waiting on new oem plug wires to install and if that doesn't fix it then I guess I'll be ordering new coils.

BTW, I'm looking to buy a IX BOV if anyone has one they are looking to get rid of.
