I used that VP gas station in sparks and mixed some 93 with some 100 and used my 93 octane map. Very clean logs to. I was getting up to 8 counts of knock and then i was getting none.

 

no not yet...still trying to save up for the TC., im still driving her alltho i know this is NOT GOOD., but i really dont have a choice cause its the only car i got., my bike is down also for tires....i changed the driff and tc oil out again this time with the sae 90 diaqueen from speed element., the whine is a little less obvious now but still there.

im thinking about selling my bike( really dont wanna do this ) so i can get the cash., so if you guys know of anyone looking for a crotch rocket let me know.

Holy crap! Nice price! If i had the money id do it. Ive been looking for a good bike, but probably wont be able to afford it until i get the rest of my inhertance... God only knows when that will be.

Also this would be my 1st bike and i know id probably kill myself on an R6.

Hey all, my car just developed a sputtering problem at wide open throttle. Have any of you ever had this happen before? I did have new 1 step colder iridium spark plugs (ngk bpr8eix) and a sun hyperforce ignition amp installed not too long ago. Just wanted to get some input on what you all may think may cause this before I start tearing into things. Thanks!

 

just take those mods off again to make sure its not causing the sputtering., u might have a boost leak or something., i also run colder plugs and i have a apexi ground kit with no problems...also if you have a boost controller, try lowering your boost and see if it changes., could be just the change in colder climate messing with your turbo., i had that happen to me when i first moved here from hawaii., droped my boost from 22 - 19 psi and everthing worked good after...good luck.

 

hmm, I'm going to try taking off the ignition amp and replacing my plugs with my stock ones to see if that cures the problem. It did start on me last night and has been cold, didn't really think about that. My boost seems to be holding fine, just sputtering like its misfiring but no cel light is on. Strange thing is I had Speed Element tune the car over a month ago and haven't had any problems until now.I had them put in the plugs when it was there so I wasn't able to check the gap, though I know about trying to gap iridiums. Maybe switch to copper plugs?

How much boost are you running? Might be fuel cut?Double check your boost psi coz mine went up 2psi as soon as the weather got a little colder.

 

Iam not sure if you can find one here in town.I shaved my fender instead of rolling and works great.

 

My boost is set for 24psi. at sea level. If it was tuned at sea level doesn't the actual amount of boost drop when climbing altitude? My gauge kinda sux because the needle flutters alot...been meaning to get a better one. As far as I can tell though I'm not overboosting.

 

Hmmm i would just back track and start with your spark plugs.
